Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) has launched the Finnish Navy’s first Pohjanmaa-class multi-role corvette in Satakunta. The vessel was moved from the assembly facility to a dock basin, initiating the final outfitting stage before its official delivery and induction into service. Finland plans to commission the corvette by 2027, with the remaining sister ships expected to follow by 2029. The hull of the first ship was completed in February 2025, following the initial steel cutting in November 2023.
