The US State Department has authorized a potential foreign military sale to Saudi Arabia involving AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) valued at approximately $3.5 billion. The proposed package comprises 1,000 AIM-120C-8 missiles, 50 guidance sections, and associated technical support. RTX has been named as the primary contractor, and no offset arrangements have been disclosed. The sale is pending approval by the US Congress.
