In a move to strengthen its naval capabilities, Oman’s Ministry of Defense has signed an agreement to acquire multiple vessels from Bangkok-based shipbuilder Marsun. The contract was formalized in Muscat by Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za’abi, Secretary General of the Ministry, and involves the procurement of unspecified ship types aimed at enhancing the operational strength of the Royal Navy of Oman.
