The Royal Norwegian Navy has received new acoustic minesweeping systems from Finnish defense company Patria, completing its 2021 order of SONAC ACS systems. The initial batch was delivered early last year. These systems will replace the retired ELMA-AGATE sweep and enhance Norway’s mine countermeasure capabilities.
