Spanish defense firm Navantia has begun construction on the Royal Saudi Naval Force’s seventh Avante 2200-class corvette, marking the milestone with a steel-cutting ceremony at its San Fernando shipyard. The event comes three months after the first corvette under the program began production. The initiative also includes integrated logistics support and crew training.
