EDGE Group, a leading UAE defense firm, has signed a $2.45-billion agreement to build and deliver eight advanced Falaj-3 patrol vessels for Kuwait’s naval forces.
The deal encompasses every stage—from design and construction to sea trials, delivery, and post-delivery maintenance. EDGE emphasized the strategic scope of the project, citing the shared regional threats that justify the partnership.
Kuwait had already partnered with EDGE in 2023 for fleet upgrades and training services, deepening military-industrial ties between the Gulf neighbors amid increasing regional maritime tensions.
