The French Navy has taken delivery of its first mine warfare surface drone under the Future Mine Countermeasures System (SLAMF) program. Equipped with a towed sonar linked to a portable operations center based in Brest, France’s second-largest military port, the system is expected to reach initial operational capability by the end of 2025.
