In Henderson, Western Australia, Austal has officially delivered the eighth Evolved Cape-class patrol boat, ADV Cape Schanck (313), to the Royal Australian Navy. The delivery is part of Canberra’s 10-ship modernization program designed to phase out the long-serving Armidale-class patrol boats introduced in the early 2000s. The seventh ship in the series, ADV Cape Solander (312), was delivered in September 2024.
