South Korea’s Defense Acquisition and Program Administration (DAPA) has greenlit the development of an upgraded version of the long-range surface-to-air missile (L-SAM). A budget of 567.7 billion South Korean won ($388 million) has been allocated for the project through 2028. The state-run Agency for Defense Development will lead the effort alongside 19 partner companies.
