The US State Department has cleared a possible $1.42 billion sale of L3Harris portable radios and related equipment to the Netherlands. The agreement would see Amsterdam purchase five types of L3Harris radios, walkie-talkies, communications equipment, network encoders, and logistics support. The delivery includes multiband networking manpack AN/PRC-117G radios, wideband networking handheld AN/PRC-152A radios, and wideband high and very high-frequency manpack AN/PRC-160 radios.
