The US Army has placed a $27.6-million order with Oshkosh Defense for 55 Medium Equipment Trailers to improve transport capacity.
This contract is part of a long-term deal allowing up to 557 trailer deliveries, following last year’s 57-unit order worth $27.3 million.
The METs will support modernization and enhance mobility across military operations.
Oshkosh noted these trailers meet evolving tactical and transport needs.
Broshuis BV, a Dutch company, will assist with the trailer production. No delivery date was disclosed.
