Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has introduced its largest unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) to date, the PROTECTOR, developed by local defense manufacturer Ukrainian Armor.
Built with direct input from soldiers on the battlefield, the PROTECTOR is designed to support frontline combat and perform critical logistics missions under all weather and terrain conditions.
The vehicle can carry payloads up to 700 kilograms (1,543 pounds) and has a range of 400 kilometers (249 miles). It is powered by a specially designed internal combustion engine optimized for cross-country mobility.
