Britain has finalized a long-term sustainment and logistics agreement with General Atomics to maintain its Protector RG Mk1 unmanned aerial systems for the Royal Air Force.
The contract, named UK PASS, also ensures continued support for training systems and ground stations needed to operate the drone. It is part of the broader SkyGuardian Global Support Solutions (SGSS) program that benefits all MQ-9B operators like India and Taiwan.
By pooling maintenance labor, materials, and supply chain services among users, SGSS allows cost-effective and streamlined support operations.
