The UK Ministry of Defence has signed a £65-million ($84 million) contract with CGI UK to develop software aimed at strengthening military satellite operations. The project will deliver “Borealis,” a command, control, and data processing system designed to support the monitoring and safeguarding of satellites used by the British armed forces and the national space agency.
