Textron Systems has delivered its MK 4.8 Hybrid Quad (HQ) Aerosonde drone to the U.S. Army under the Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (FTUAS) program. The handover was formalized through the Department of Defense’s DD-250 acceptance process, officially transferring ownership to the government. The FTUAS program team will now begin equipment training at Redstone Test Center, aiming to certify operators and instructors by the end of January.
