The US Army has received its initial batch of Stryker armored fighting vehicles and Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs) in Pennsylvania, advancing its ground combat fleet modernization initiative. The 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team (Independence Brigade), stationed in Horsham, accepted the vehicles. Notably, this unit is one of only nine Stryker brigades and the first to operate within the Army’s reserve component.
