The US State Department has approved Romania’s request to purchase various Guided Bomb Unit (GBU)-39B Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs) in a potential deal worth $84 million. Under the proposed sale, Romania seeks 400 GBU-39B SDB-I munitions, along with GBU-39 (T-1)/B inert training bombs equipped with fuzes. The package also includes tactical training rounds, common built-in-test and reprogramming equipment, ADU-890E test set adapter groups, containers, spare parts, and logistical and program support.
