Northrop Grumman has been awarded two contracts totaling $1.4 billion to deliver air and missile defense capabilities for both the United States and Poland. The first contract, valued at $481 million over five years, will support the U.S. Army’s Aviation Missile & Technology Consortium with upgrades to the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). Enhancements will include the integration of Polish sensors, the UK’s Common Anti-Air Modular Missile (CAMM) system, and the incorporation of artificial intelligence and model-based systems engineering to expand IBCS capabilities.
