Iraq has taken delivery of two H225M Caracal medium-lift helicopters from Airbus under a 14-aircraft agreement finalized last year. The helicopters arrived in Baghdad and were transferred to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, with operational handover to the Iraqi Air Force expected later this month. Six more units are slated for delivery between June and October, while the remaining aircraft will be received by early 2026.
