Textron Systems has reportedly been chosen by the US Army to lead the development of its first Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV). Sources familiar with the matter told Breaking Defense that Textron’s RIPSAW 3 was selected over competing entries from McQ, General Dynamics, and Oshkosh Defense. Although the winning company has been informed, an official announcement from the Army is expected at a later date.
