Teledyne FLIR presented its Cerberus XL counter-drone system, which can spot up to 500 targets at once, at the Association of the US Army expo in Washington, DC. The trailer-mounted C-UAS uses advanced imaging and long-range radar to swiftly locate and track drone threats. It employs third-party non-kinetic effectors to neutralize hostile UAS up to three kilometers (1.9 miles) away. Cerberus XL C-UAS manages the full kill chain: detection, tracking, identification, and defeat. The platform’s sensors feature advanced AI to improve target identification.
