Taiwan’s military plans to procure four different variants of kamikaze drones to boost its strike capabilities amid rising regional tensions, a senior official confirmed. One drone will be tailored for precision short-range attacks, another will deploy loitering munitions, and the final two will have vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) features—one of which will be missile-capable for more powerful engagements.
