The European Union has approved Switzerland’s entry into the “Cyber Ranges Federation” (CRF), a collaborative initiative aimed at interconnecting national cyber training infrastructures throughout Europe. The CRF facilitates joint cyber defense training, exercises, and research involving emerging technologies like AI, autonomous systems, and secure infrastructure protection. The initiative seeks to unify and expand cyber capabilities across participating nations by harmonizing standards for testing, validation, and experimentation. Led by Estonia, the project currently includes Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia, and Luxembourg.
