Sweden has signed a contract with Rheinmetall to purchase Mk82 bombs for its Gripen fighter jets, aiming to boost the Swedish Air Force’s ground attack capabilities. The deal, worth over 100 million Swedish kronor ($9 million), is expected to be fulfilled by the second quarter of this year. The Mk82 bombs are compatible with the Jas 39 Gripen C/D and E models.
