India’s Solar Group has conducted tests of a kinetic counter-drone swarm system designed for the Indian Army. During the trial, the Bhargavastra micro-missile system successfully neutralized simulated targets at distances up to 2.5 kilometers (1.55 miles) and altitudes of 400 meters (1,312 feet). Developed by Solar Group’s subsidiary, Economic Explosive Ltd., the affordable system includes an advanced command and control unit, radar, and seeker-equipped mini-missiles with a range of 6 kilometers (3.72 miles).
