RTX has been awarded a $946 million contract to supply Romania with additional Patriot missile systems, enhancing the nation’s air defense capabilities. This marks Romania’s third Patriot acquisition, following earlier purchases in 2017 and 2020. The contract includes Patriot fire units equipped with cutting-edge radars, command-and-control stations, and interceptor missiles.
