RTX has unveiled its first aircraft radar warning receiver (RWR) featuring artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities. The system incorporates the company’s Cognitive Algorithm Deployment System (CADS), enabling AI/ML model integration into existing RWR platforms. CADS uses an advanced embedded GPU and Deepwave’s computing architecture to enable real-time threat processing directly at the sensor, enhancing the RWR’s ability to identify, categorize, and prioritize threats using cognitive methods.
