The Romanian Naval Forces will procure MQ-35A V-BAT vertical take-off and landing drones from the United States. The acquisition includes two systems—each comprising four drones—and is valued at approximately $30 million. This government-to-government transaction is part of a wider modernization effort, which also encompasses maritime patrol vessels, man-portable air defense systems, and multi-role wheeled platforms.
