The ArGe D-LBO (Working Group for the Digitalization of Land-Based Operations), a joint venture between KNDS Deutschland and Rheinmetall, has been awarded a contract by Germany’s BAAINBw to modernize the command-and-control systems of the German Armed Forces’ vehicle platforms. The six-year agreement, worth EUR 1.98 billion, involves integrating next-generation digital radios and command systems across various military vehicles. ArGe D-LBO will be responsible for managing and executing the entire project.
