Pratt & Whitney, a subsidiary of RTX, has secured a $1.5 billion contract to support the maintenance of F119 engines used in the US Air Force’s F-22 Raptor stealth fighters. Over the next three years, the company will focus on enhancing engine readiness and lowering operational costs for more than 400 engines that have collectively logged over 900,000 flight hours.
