Poland has announced plans to acquire an additional batch of K2 Black Panther main battle tanks from South Korea, continuing its expansion of the army’s heavy armored fleet. This follows the country’s $5.76 billion investment in August 2022 for 180 K2 tanks and over 200 K9A1 self-propelled howitzers. The upcoming agreement, anticipated next month, is estimated at 9 trillion won ($6.1 billion) and will reportedly include another 180 tanks.
