Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) announced it has been awarded a production contract from the U.S. Government for the Generation 4 Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (Gen 4 TADS/PNVS) systems. The contract supports the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) package for Poland’s AH-64E Apache helicopters and marks the first delivery of sensors featuring the Common Sensor Electronic Unit (CSEU) and Generation 2 Turret as standard.

Designed for precision engagement and enhanced pilot navigation, the Gen 4 TADS/PNVS system equips Apache helicopters with superior long-range targeting capabilities for missions conducted in day, night, or adverse weather conditions.

Lockheed Martin will also work with Polish defense industry leaders to set up a TADS/PNVS Special Repair Activity (SRA) at WZL1 in Łódź, providing in-country maintenance capacity and supporting Poland’s growing defense sector.

This milestone highlights Lockheed Martin’s dedication to providing advanced sensor solutions to global allies, ensuring their forces are equipped to handle modern security demands.
