The Pentagon revealed a new hypersonic testing alliance with Australia and the UK, focusing on upgrading facilities and facilitating information exchange between the countries. The initiative, called the Hypersonic Flight Test and Experimentation project (HyFliTE), plans to carry out as many as six trilateral flight test campaigns by 2028.
