Performance Drone Works (PDW) has been awarded over $15.3 million in contracts to supply its proprietary C100 small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) to the U.S. Army. The Alabama-based company states that the drones will strengthen the Army’s operational posture in critical theaters, with most units being allocated across the Central Command, European, and Indo-Pacific regions. The C100 is expected to deliver “game-changing” capabilities in the form of tactical air support and medium-range reconnaissance.
