Patria officially opened its F-35 production building on June 13, 2025, at the company’s Halli facility in Jämsä, Finland. This new production line will handle the large-scale assembly of forward fuselages for the F-35 fighter jet, contributing directly to the international F-35 supply chain.
The facility, set for completion by autumn 2025, is part of Finland’s F-35 industrial participation programme. It enhances national defense capabilities, supports Finland’s security of supply, and provides a notable boost to the country’s economy.
The project is expected to create up to 150 jobs at Patria once production ramps up. Operations are scheduled to commence in spring 2026.
