Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $267-million contract to manufacture two more MQ-4C Triton high-altitude drones for the US Navy. This acquisition supports the navy’s broader objective of establishing a 27-aircraft fleet to enhance its intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. The agreement also includes the delivery of a primary operating base and related support services.
