To improve training for its F-35A pilots, Denmark has purchased state-of-the-art simulators that replicate enemy radar systems. The “threat emitters” mimic the live radar signals enemy platforms would produce, giving trainees a realistic combat environment. This procurement is part of the country’s shift toward a more advanced, fifth-generation air force. The simulators arrive as Denmark recently took delivery of four new F-35A aircraft, bringing its fleet to 15. Six more jets are expected over the next two years, marking steady progress in fleet modernization.
