Ukraine has expanded its UAV fleet with the unveiling of the Buntar-3, a next-generation surveillance drone developed by Buntar Aerospace. What sets it apart is its capability to perform missions without relying on GPS, allowing it to operate effectively in heavily jammed environments.
This electric-powered VTOL drone incorporates artificial intelligence to assist with autonomous flight and reconnaissance tasks. It boasts a flight time of 3.5 hours and an 80-kilometer operating radius, while its sensors can identify targets from a distance of up to 15 kilometers. The Buntar-3 demonstrates how Ukraine is integrating AI-driven tech to overcome electronic warfare challenges on the battlefield.
