Morocco is said to be gearing up to receive an unspecified quantity of Turkish-made Bayraktar Akinci drones. According to local media, deliveries of these advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are expected to begin in February next year. This move follows a 2021 contract worth 626 million dirhams ($70 million) signed by the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces to purchase 13 Bayraktar TB2 combat drones, along with remote control ground stations and configurable simulation systems.
