KNDS Unveils Complete MATARIS Remotely Operated Munitions Line
KNDS, in collaboration with DELAIR and EOS TECHNOLOGIE, has developed the MATARIS series of remotely operated munitions to rapidly address critical capability gaps in the French military inventory. The range includes:
MT-10: Rotary-wing, 10 km range
MX-10 DAMOCLES: Quadcopter-wing, 10 km range
MV-25 OSKAR: Fixed-wing, 25 km range
MV-100 VELOCE 330: Fixed-wing, 100 km range
The MX-10 DAMOCLES, developed under the French MoD’s LMS Short-range program, will be fielded by the French Army starting July 2025. It features a DELAIR-built airframe and a KNDS Ammo France warhead capable of neutralizing infantry, soft targets, and lightly armored vehicles.
The MV-25 OSKAR, deployed in Ukraine just two years after initial development under the COLIBRI project, has received strong feedback from Ukrainian forces.
For medium-range threats, KNDS partnered with EOS TECHNOLOGIE to develop the VELOCE 330, a turbine-powered platform offering a 100 km range and speeds exceeding 400 km/h. It carries a 2.5 kg anti-armor warhead based on the BONUS shell. Operational testing is expected by the end of 2025.
Designed for versatility and safety, the MATARIS series positions KNDS, DELAIR, and EOS TECHNOLOGIE as France’s leading providers of advanced loitering munitions.
