M-tron Industries has landed a $5.5 million contract to produce high-performance radio frequency (RF) components for a major US naval weapon system.

The deal covers rugged crystal and lumped element filters specifically designed to perform in extreme operating conditions. M-tron has supported this long-standing defense program for nearly ten years.

Production will take place at the company’s Orlando, Florida facility, with deliveries set to continue through 2026. The larger naval program is expected to remain active until at least 2035.

Although the specific system was not identified, similar RF components are typically used in radar, electronic warfare, and secure communication platforms.
