Lithuania’s Defence Materiel Agency (DMA), operating under the Ministry of National Defence, has finalized an agreement with Germany’s Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology, and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) to procure 44 Leopard 2A8 main battle tanks from KNDS Deutschland. The EUR 950 million deal also encompasses a full suite of spare parts and logistical support.
