Leidos has been awarded an $87 million contract by NATO’s Communications and Information Agency to develop a centralized IT platform leveraging private cloud technology to strengthen the alliance’s cybersecurity and network resilience.
As the project lead, Leidos will collaborate with a multinational team that includes Thales (France), CGI (Germany), Leonardo (Italy), and UK-based LA International and NEXOR.
The initiative is designed to improve NATO’s network scalability and contribute to its ongoing digital transformation.
The new system will unify essential functions such as IT service management and cybersecurity, enhancing interoperability and streamlining command operations across NATO’s network.
He added that the effort would pave the way for deeper, more secure collaboration across transatlantic defense networks, enabling NATO teams to share critical data quickly and reliably.
