In a move to enhance Italy’s defense capabilities, BAE Systems Hägglunds has partnered with Iveco Defence Vehicles to promote the BvS10 armored vehicle. The joint effort was formalized through a memorandum of understanding that aims to present a localized solution for the Italian military’s requirements.
This collaboration will allow the platform to be adapted specifically for Italian operations, with local production envisioned to stimulate national defense industry growth. Drawing on past experiences in joint military projects, the partners aim to deliver a tailored solution that supports national security objectives. The BvS10 is already trusted by various armed forces across Europe and beyond, including France, Germany, and Ukraine.
