The Hellenic Armed Forces have introduced a state-of-the-art combat uniform aimed at enhancing soldier readiness for contemporary challenges. This uniform includes advanced elements such as a new helmet, body armor, first-aid kit, and specially crafted footwear and clothing equipped with biometric sensors. Constructed from lightweight, modern materials, the gear offers improved adaptability across various environments. The comprehensive combat equipment program is part of Greece’s ongoing military modernization initiative and carries a budget of 204 million euros ($212 million).
