Germany has tasked Rheinmetall with delivering Distributed Naval Training Architecture (VTAM) simulator systems to enhance naval training capabilities. The VTAM hardware and software will be installed at six naval bases nationwide, creating an interconnected training environment aimed at improving personnel coordination and readiness. The Distributed Training Center under the Naval Support Command in Wilhelmshaven will manage technical integration and oversee operations.
