Germany and Patria have entered into a research and development agreement valued at €50 million ($51 million) to develop the Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) NEMO mortar and the CAVS mortar command and control variants for the German Armed Forces. The contract includes integrating these platforms with German mission systems and qualifying them to meet specific customer requirements.
