Teledyne FLIR Defense has secured a contract to deliver its Black Hornet 4 Personal Reconnaissance Systems to the German Armed Forces. The deal covers an unspecified quantity of nano drones, as well as spare parts and training support. The two-year effort will be carried out in collaboration with European Logistic Partners, a Wuppertal-based regional distributor. Upon delivery, the drones will join over 33,000 Black Hornet units already fielded in nearly 50 countries.
