Gentex has announced the immediate availability of its new LX9™ Liner System for military helmets. The system is a lightweight, drop-in replacement compatible with several widely used combat helmet models such as ACH, ECH, and NG-IHPS. It features a redesigned nine-piece padding layout that improves breathability and comfort, including a brow pad that offers enhanced stability. The US Army has already ordered over 18,000 units for deployment in 2025. Its universal fit and integration with existing Velcro mounts ensure seamless customization, reduced hot spots, and compatibility with head-worn communication systems.
