General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has secured a $580 million contract to support the security and operational readiness of US Army installations.
The task order covers Integrated Base Defense Sustainment Support, focusing on maintaining radars, sensors, and camera systems that safeguard Army bases, personnel, and infrastructure.
These systems are vital for detecting and countering unauthorized access, surveillance, malicious drone activity, and cyber threats. As part of the contract, GDIT will deploy its proprietary Cove AI Ops platform, which uses machine learning and advanced analytics to process large volumes of data, identify critical patterns, and support decision-making.
The contract is set for one year with options to extend for up to four additional years.
